Richard Go is a globally celebrated Filipino floral designer known for his theatrical flair, bold creativity, and resourceful artistry. Affectionately nicknamed the “Floral McGyver”, Richard has earned a reputation for crafting extraordinary arrangements using unexpected materials—often improvising without traditional tools, much like the ingenious 1980s TV character he's compared to.

His signature aesthetic blends contrast and contradiction—bare and bountiful, rough and refined—resulting in stunning, thought-provoking compositions that embody both structure and spontaneity. Whether he’s creating for an intimate ceremony or a grand-scale event, Richard’s work captivates with its originality and emotional depth.

A natural showman and passionate mentor, Richard brings energy, humor, and deep insight to every demonstration he leads. His workshops are more than lessons—they are performances that leave a lasting impression on designers, florists, and floral enthusiasts around the world.

Currently based in Sydney, Australia, Richard holds a Diploma in Floristry from the New Zealand Professional Florists and is a proud member of the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD). For over 20 years, he has also served as a trusted brand ambassador for Smithers Oasis Australia Ltd.
